Ok, It's official. I'm moving to Wordpress. This Weekend! I'm so excited. I'm so scared. Hopefully everything will go smoothly. I've got the greatest gal in the world handling it for me. I've already been such a pest and she's just taking it all with grace. Every 15 minutes I think of something else, so little detail I want her to know about. I just pop off another e-mail to her. I don't ever say hi now, Just "Can we do this? Thanks" Now thank you, no hug. I have made sure to tell her she's wonderful and awesome a few times already.

It's Thursday! (ok, almost, you all know what I mean.) It's also almost Easter, and Passover has already started...oh and let's not forget Spring Break! My brain might be just a little frazzled. Have I mentioned I'm making the move from Blogger to Wordpress? NEXT WEEK! So yes, I'm completely frazzled, and worried and stressed, and I know I need to do this and I know it will be worth it, and I know I'll be so happy with it all once it's done.

I know I'm gonna need a lot of chocolate!

S'mores Cookie Bars

I had to make these bars. My reputation depended on it.

You know your kids are proud of you when they show your site off to their friends. My son came home the other day from school and asked me to make a treat for his class. My son is in High School! Really, I asked? Why?

"Well Mom, we got done our work early in class (his AP History class) and we we're playing around on the internet and I showed everyone your site. Even the teacher was looking. They want you to make something. They want the Hot Chocolate cookies."

Starbucks and the Bakery at Walmart #deliciouspairings

Did you know that it's American Chocolate Week? It's ok, I didn't either but who am I to object to a week dedicated to chocolate.

I was so excited to be chosen to go to Walmart for the Delicious Pairing of Starbucks and the Bakery at Walmart. They were even having a demo of Starbucks Mocha Blend Coffee! Yup, sign me up! Starbucks coffee is a treat in our house, reserved for the weekends. Lazy Sunday mornings.

Why you should use Google Plus

If you have any type of website on the internet and want people searching to be able to find you, you want to be using Google Plus. I know, we've all been hearing the talk. Google Plus is better than Facebook or Twiiter. And it is. Function Wise. You can tag people using the +name like +Joan Hayes and add Hashtags to make your posts more searchable like #chocolate #food #craft #google Whatever key words you want to add.

But sometimes seeing is believing. So I did a little testing today. I searched for my top post Cherry White Chocolate Pudding Cookies in Google.

Lemon Souffle

I'm still enjoying Lemon, don't worry I'll have chocolate back next week. And this one is low calorie, almost sugar free so we might be able to call it a .... healthy dessert.

One of the things I love about my kids all being in school (besides the fact that they are getting an education) is, I get some me time every day. I know, during that me time, I'm supposed to be cleaning, doing laundry, running errands...haha, are you laughing yet? I know if my hubby reads this, the neighbors will be able to hear his laughter.

Spring! Today's the first day of spring! Why is it that we've got a freeze warning for tonight then? I'm ready for warmer weather, flowers blooming, the smell of fresh cut grass, allergies...OK, I can probably wait a few more days.
